Soak up the Corsican soul by discovering the island's hiking and walking trails, surrounded by the scents of the maquis and the sea.
Here are our suggestions for walks and hikes around our charming Corsican hotel:

The Revellata peninsula walk

About 15 minutes by car from our charming Corsican hotel, the Revellata trail offers a pleasant walk without any particular difficulties. There is a small car park at the start of the trail, so please arrive early.
The Revellata walk takes you around the peninsula for a 2-hour loop. Enjoy magnificent panoramas of the cliffs, the citadel of Calvi and the Revellata lighthouse. On sunny days, the creeks and beaches that border the peninsula are perfect spots to take a break and refresh yourself.

The Girolata hike

Still on the sea side, we suggest a hike to discover the Scandola Reserve, a real must-see in the region. Take your picnic for this long hike of about 6 hours which is nevertheless quite easy. First of all, hike through the maquis to the Lucciu ridge which offers a magnificent view of the Gulf of Galéria. Then reach the Palmarella pass before descending to the hamlet of Girolata. Picnic on the beach and cool off in its turquoise waters, with the village, eucalyptus trees and mountains in the background.

The abandoned village of Occi

By car, go to the village of Lumio, on the road to the villages of Balagne. It will take you about ten minutes to get there from our charming Corsican hotel. From there, take the hiking trail behind the Casa di Ma restaurant to the village of Occi. Stroll among the old stones, observe the mill and the church and climb up to the threshing floor which offers a breathtaking view of the village. A unique and timeless experience!

The Bonifatu forest

More experienced walkers can take the Bonifatu mule track for a hike of about 7 hours. From our charming Corsican hotel, drive about 30 minutes to the starting point at the Cirque de Bonifatu. Then start the climb towards the Carrozzu refuge, one of the stages of the GR20, and admire the view of the Cirque. There are also natural pools up there.
Continue on your way via the suspension bridge and then descend to the forest house while enjoying the magical landscape.
