For many years, the Foyer Rural de Montegrossu has helped to make "A Fiera di l'Alivu" a renowned, high-quality rural event with a strong sense of identity.
This event showcases Corsican olive oil through tastings and combinations with local produce, all in a convivial atmosphere. As well as tastings, visitors can meet craftsmen and artists who use wood and olive fruit in demonstrations and events.
Every year, the Olive Fair attracts 10,000 enthusiastic visitors. Labelled a "remarkable taste site" by the Conseil National de l'Art Culinaire, this fair is a must for food lovers.
LAMA FILM FESTIVAL
From 25 July to 31 July 2026
Just like Cannes, the village of Lama has its own Film Festival. It offers all the authenticity and warmth typical of the Balagne region and Corsica. Lama invites you to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of this international event.
This year, the Lama Film Festival is back with a bang!
As always, the Lama Festival is open to all, with screenings for children every evening, short films, previews of feature films and documentaries. In a family-friendly atmosphere, the days are filled with workshops such as readings, singing, dance and screenwriting workshops, and more…
Following the evening’s big-screen screenings under the stars in Balagne, the film crews invite the audience to join them the day after the screenings, under the plane tree, to chat and answer questions.
Light refreshments will be available from 7 pm at the swimming pool and in the open-air café further upstream.

FESTIVAL OF SANTA MARIA
15 August 2026
Dive into the heart of an age-old tradition in Calvi, where 15 August comes alive with palpable intensity. The streets light up at dawn for the Feast of the Virgin Mary, vibrating to the sound of song and colour during a solemn procession to the church. Meanwhile, the majestic chapel of Notre-Dame de la Serra dominates the town, offering a peaceful sanctuary for a mass dedicated to this saintly figure, with a breathtaking view over the bay of Calvi.
After the religious rituals, the town comes alive with cultural events, street performances and craft markets, showing visitors the authenticity and richness of Corsican culture. The day ends in style with a spectacular fireworks display, illuminating the starry Calvi sky for an unforgettable experience.

TOUR OF CORSICA

The Tour de Corse Historique offers a unique adventure through the stunning landscapes of Corsica. See you in Calvi on 3 October for the start.
Created in 2001 by José Andreani, this event revives the legend of the Tour de Corse WRC and has established itself as one of the world's finest historic events.
It brings together renowned drivers and enthusiastic amateurs to compete, enjoy each other's company and share their love of beautiful cars, in an open-air museum atmosphere.
TRAIL IN CALVI

The Calvi Trail is a popular event held in the Balagne region. There are three races on the programme, taking place in the town, on the beach and in the mountains.
